Employer Withholding Appointment Letter and PF Details: What Legal Steps Can My Friend Take?

Chandrakantparmar86@gmail.com
Dear All,

One of my friends recently joined a company in Noida. She was told she would receive the appointment letter within a week, but after two months, the employer is unwilling to provide it. She was also informed about PF benefits, but she has not received any salary certificate to understand her legal deductions under PF. Additionally, she is being denied the ability to take any leave due to the workload.

Legal Options for Obtaining an Appointment Letter

My question is, is there a legal way to obtain the appointment letter without resigning from the job due to the employer's unjust actions?

Clarification on Employer's Role

What do you mean by employer? Is it HR, the business, or the business head?

Inquiry About Salary and Employment Terms

Has she received her salary slip or salary? How did she start work? Was it verbal, or was there any email with the offer letter?

1. An employer refers to the company where she is employed.
2. She receives her salary, not just the salary slips.
3. The agreement to start working was verbal, with the promise to provide all necessary documentation.

Dear Prashant, you are correct, but there is a question regarding the rights of an employee that cannot be denied. After all, it concerns her career. What is the point of working in a company without proof of employment?
