Matter For Increment Mail

Hallo All,
I am having 8 months experiance as a admin executive. i want to write a mail for the salary increment to the CEO. can any body tell me what i need to write into the mail.

You have not presented the full details in your posting.
Normally increments are given only after a year of working.
This is done for all employees together as an annual exercise.
In some companies six monthly raises are given but these are rare instances.
In your case when you took up the appointment were you given any promise
that you would be given an increment after 6 or 8 months ?
