Eps Monthly Pension Arrears

Dear seniors
one of my colleague forgot to apply for the monthly pension at the age of 58 . he is now 62 . if he applies for monthly pension now with form 10d will he get the amount between age of 58 to 62 or this pension amount is lost ?
please help.......
