Hello Gaurav,

It is good to note finally you will get the place where you wanted to be.

However, I think before approaching our members, you can always attempt to draft something on your own and ask for corrections or improvements.

Please send a note on the similar lines as below (modify it suitably)

Dear Sir,

I have joined in Administration for last 5 years and performing the tasks .................. (a brief mention of your functions). However, I am a qualified post graduate in HR ............................(your degree, university etc.) of ........(year) and want to join HR dept.

May I please request you to transfer me to HR ? I wish to further contribute to the progress and growth of this organization.

Attached is my degree certificate for perusal.

Hope my request will be considered favourably.

Thanking you.

Yours truly,

Hope it helps and all the best!

Hello Gaurav Kashyap,
Vaishalee Parkhi has given you a very good draft.
How did your HR dept Head inform you?
Was it verbal or written?
Was there a copy to VP (HR)?
Answers to above will enable you to finalise your draft.
Whatever you do ( marking a copy or not to HR dept Head/ giving the reference etc)
please take HR Dept Head into confidence before you act further.
Since you are seeking a change to HR, it would have been in the fitness
of things that you first make your own draft and then seek the approval of seniors.
As it is now you still have one more chance for the same !!
Wish you Good Luck,
V.Raghunathan
