Are Contract Workers in Small Groups Covered by EPF in a Factory Setting?

Dear Members, if in a factory there are contractors deploying fewer than 20 workers, would those contract workers be covered under the EPF Act, considering the factory is covered under the EPF Act? Kindly reply as soon as possible.

If the principal employer's establishment employs twenty or more persons, including contract labor, then the contract labor needs to be covered under the P.F. Act.
