Applicability Of PF Of Contractual Workers

Dear Members,
If in a factory there are cotractors deploying less than 20 workers then whether those contract workers would be covered under EPF act or not as the factory is covered under EPF act.
Kindly reply asap.

If the principal employer's establishment employs twenty or more persons including contarct labour then the contarct labour need to be covered under P.FAct.
