Mediclaim Policy For Employees

Mrithika
Dear All,
I am Mrithika working as HR in a concern in Coimbatore. We are planning to bring in mediclaim insurance policy for our employees. We had spoken to few of the insurance companies and got the basic details like sum to be assured, premium, list of hospitals covered etc. But we are not sure about their services. So, kindly suggest us the best serviced insurance company in Coimbatore for group mediclaim policy for the employees.

Hi Mrithika,
If ESIC is applicable in your, go for that. Claim under this is not limited. If not, then ask for policy terms from the company study and compare the facilities provided by them. Please note Mediclaim Policy is an agreement between the two parties and premium depends the benefits added to the policy details. And sum covered is limited.
Thanks

Mostly the government insurance companies are safe, but their service levels are poor. With the introduction of third party processing and cashless things are much better.
Compared to it, private companies are very efficient (at least in renewing your policy). At the momenet they are clearing all bills because they have a reputation to build but soon they will start making excuses not to pay.
It's best if you have government company insurance and have a very strong broker who will ensure you get payments cleared without delay.

Dear Mirthika: You may please try M/s Royal Sundaram Alliance Insurance Company heading at Madurai and having branches all over india. They are one the biggest TVS group companies. Their services are excellent, very systematic, and easy approach. You may please see their website and find out local office contact. Please see that you need not cover employee who are now already under the purview of ESI Act.

all posts are our members genuine experiences. to add my share, you can have general insurance companies of government and TPA, you can have some good private service providers. leaving both the work of insurance and service to private insurance companies, in all goodness does not keep your employees happy.
