Struggling to Land a Job in Hyderabad: Seeking Advice on What I Might Be Missing

I am Ali Abbas, working as a Manager HR in an Engineering manufacturing company in Gujarat. I have almost 14 years of experience in Personnel Management and HR functions. I hold a B.Com and LL.B degree and am currently pursuing a PG diploma in Human Resources from Symbiosis, Pune.

For quite some time, I have been desperately seeking a job in Hyderabad. I have applied to about 1000 jobs online, but I have not received a single interview or telephonic call from any consultant or prospective employer. I am quite confused whether there are any special criteria in Hyderabad for the interview or selection procedure. I would be very thankful if somebody from this forum could suggest some tips or help me in finding a job in Hyderabad. I have attached my biodata for reference.

Don't worry, I will try to find a suitable position for you in Hyderabad (H'bad) because I know some consultants who are desperately looking for good HR managers in Bangalore and Chennai. Can you please confirm if you prefer only Hyderabad? What about Bangalore?

Furthermore, you have mentioned completing a PGDip in HR from Symbiosis Institute. Could you please inform me if the exams they conduct are online or in-person? Additionally, what are the fees for the same?

Please also provide information on the admission procedure for this course. I would be grateful if you could share this information with me.

Thank you very much for the appreciation and your comments. I would be very grateful if your efforts can yield some good results.

Regarding Pune - Symbiosis, the total course fee is Rs. 25,000 for two years, payable in two installments of Rs. 14,000 and Rs. 9,000, with an additional Rs. 1000 for application and Rs. 1000 for registration fee along with the application. The application must be submitted in the month of July. There is no entrance exam for admission. All exams are conducted online, and assignments are also submitted online. All payments can be made through DD, and there is no need to visit Pune in person. The assistance provided is excellent. Thank you very much for your reply to the requests I had sought. In fact, I was not decisive whether to go in for ICFAI or Symbiosis. But now, based on some analysis, I zeroed in on Symbiosis.

With regard to your job hunting, is it okay for you if the job location is Bangalore? Furthermore, what is your salary range? Are you ready to work in any type of industry (such as garments, manufacturing, service, retail, BPO, etc.) so that I can work it out? However, you will have to give me some time before I can do something for you. Anyhow, good luck.

Bangalore is okay with me, but I prefer Hyderabad more than B'lore. The industry type can be any.

As far as time is concerned, I am also presently engaged in some important assignments which may finish by Dec 07 - Jan 08. You may take your own time to support.
