Salary Increase to 15,500 Rupees: Can ESIC Benefits Still Be Retained?

Please tell me, in our company, an employee's salary of 14,000 is covered by ESIC benefits. Now, his salary has increased to 15,500 rupees. How can he continue to receive ESIC benefits after this increase? Is there any process for the employee to receive his ESIC benefits after the salary increase?

Harnek, can you clarify your question about ESI benefits? If you are asking about ESI benefits after you exceed the ESI slab limit, then you can avail of its benefits for only up to 6 months. After this period, it is not possible to avail of ESI benefits or be covered under ESI.

Medical Benefits for Retired Employees

Employees and their spouses will receive medical benefits as long as they pay Rs 120 per year to ESIC after retirement, provided they were Insured Persons (IP) for 5 years.
