We had given a contract to "X" company, and they had subcontracted to company "Y". Who is responsible for submitting the statutory compliance reports to the principal employer? Please share your views on the same.
If subcontracting is done with or without the Principal Employer's (PE) permission, all contractors' and subcontractors' statutory compliance must be monitored by the PE only.
