Can You Transfer PF Between Two Companies If You're a Director at Both?

Dear Team, I have a query regarding PF transfer cases as follows:

PF Transfer Query

Mr. X was working with ABC Company as a director from 2010 to 2013 with PF account number 123. He is also a director of XYZ Company from 2008 to the present with PF account number 456.

Now, after resigning from ABC Company in mid-2013, he wishes to transfer his PF from ABC Company with account number 123 to XYZ Company with PF number 456.

Is this possible? Can a person be a member of two PF accounts simultaneously?

In your case, I would recommend withdrawing the account and closing it to avoid any future loss of pension amount if both accounts have been active for 10 or more years. Since it is simultaneous membership, transferring is not possible. You will need to fill out a form for the transfer, including the date of joining your present employer and the date of leaving your previous employer.
