Hi Folks, I worked for a reputed MNC in India. I left the organization for better prospects. However, I didn't serve the prescribed notice period as I had to join the new organization at the earliest. I informed my manager about the same, but they didn't relieve me on time. I still went ahead and joined the new organization, who were happy to onboard me without a relieving and experience letter.
Concern About Future Employment
In retrospect, my concern is whenever I happen to change my current organization in the future, my then company might ask for relieving and resignation letters from my previous two organizations. I have requested my previous organization for the relieving letter by recovering my salary for the remaining days of my notice, which I had forfeited, but they are not agreeing upon it.
Seeking Guidance
Could someone please guide me on how to take this forward, as I don't want to be labeled as absconded and limit my chances of working with other organizations moving ahead.
