Hi Darshan,

I don't think these are all stupid questions.

Where do you see yourself in five years?

In the present scenario, no one works in the same company for 5 years, most probably. But based on my knowledge, the intention of this question is to understand the candidate's career plan, clarity in thoughts, and practical thinking.

I have never come across the second question to date.

What are your weaknesses?

For any responsible position, the candidate should have the ability to recognize his/her weaknesses and take constructive measures to overcome them. I believe presenting one's weaknesses in a positive manner is also a valuable skill.

What particularly interested you about our company?

Generally, this question is not very significant if the candidate has relevant experience or an appropriate educational background.

What would your past managers say about you?

This is not an interview question. The answer to this question comes from reference checks, not the candidate.

Regards,

Dear friends,

There is no such thing as a stupid question. While some questions may seem silly at times, they can be appropriate on certain occasions. Please find the attached file for interview tips for your reference, as this information may be useful.
