Lift Inspections: Do We Need to Comply with Both the Factories Act and the Lift Act?

My organization, which also comes under the definition of a Factory under the Factories Act, has established a lift. We used to get the lift inspected under the Factories Act, 1948 at intervals of six months. Now, I want to know whether inspection is also needed under the Lift Act. Is inspection required under both Acts?
