Hi, I have a question. I am a salaried employee, and every month my taxes are debited. For the year 2012-13, I don’t have my Form 16. Will there be a problem if I don’t file my tax returns, as I have already paid the taxes every month?
Hi, you can file your IT returns online as well, and the deadline for submission has been extended to 05.08.2013. If you need any assistance, we are available to help you e-file your IT return.
If your TDS is deducted every month, the employer will give you Form 16, which is mandatory. You can file your return electronically without Form 16, as whatever TDS has been deducted will be reflected in your online return through 26AS. You can also view your TDS online through 26AS. It is always advisable to file a return if tax is deducted.
