iam working as je electrical enggr in autonomous institution 24 yrs service. no charges given attitude towords job is mentioned i hve been asked to vacacate house given inside campus, till further orders. i doubt may be planning to suspend please advise thans

Are you working for a government company? During suspension, they cannot withdraw the perks. You will have to be paid 50% of your salary, during suspension pending enquiry. Only when they terminate someone, will they ask them to vacate. You can go to court and get a stay on the letter which asks you to vacate the house, since they have asked you to vacate the house while awaiting a response from you. This is against the principles of natural justice. You can hire any lawyer and immediately get a stay. This will also help you in proving that they were vindictive against you in a premeditated manner, in case at a later date they decide to suspend or dismiss you from service. In any case, immediately consult a lawyer

The first sentence was a query. No where have I said that only Government companies/undertakings will provide for subsistence allowance. I should have separated the query from the rest of the posting. That's caused the confusion. Thanks for pointing out.

Prima facie action against you taken by your office appears premature and unjust labour practices. To give you appropriate suggestions you should post the letter issued to you in this forum. Otherwise consult an advocate for taking up your case strongly.

Without giving the details of the show cause notice, how do you expect anyone to give you advice ?
Everyone will be shooting in the dark.
