Dear Reshma,

Good one, dear. Very much inspiring... I remember the movie "Lagaan" which has also inspired many management professors, entrepreneurs, and CEOs in their strategy-making and success achievements for Indian organizations.

My professor, Dr. Biswajit Pattanaik, who holds the title of Lagaan Professor at a national level, provides valuable insights in management studies by highlighting Aamir Khan's every move to win the game of cricket.

It's nice to have such movies that add a lot of value and insight for a better India. I have a heartfelt desire to watch more movies like this that set examples for our generation and the next.

I would like to know your and other members' opinions regarding this. Hoping for a lot of contributions.

Regards,
Ramila

I agree with what Ramila says. These movies sometimes give an uplift to the training concepts that need to be displayed. "Chak De" is amazing. The scene where SRK stresses the name of the girls as Indians and not from individual states is a classic example of team building and having a common goal. SRK emphasizes that he can only hear "INDIA" and no other states. "Iqbal" is also a classic work on coaching.

Ramila, let me know if you want to learn more about such movies. :)

Hi Raj and Ramila,

True. A movie or such clippings will seep into the minds of the viewers as they touch the deep emotional cord that lies in all of us. Basically, all of us are inculcated with good values and morals right from our childhood. In our hearts, all of us want them to be universally followed. However, as we grow up, we sometimes succumb to the pressures of certain situations and tend to compromise. Such movies can awaken our spirits and thought process from deep slumber and, at times, make us relook at everything with fresh and renewed vigor.

If you have any PPT/video clippings on "Lagaan" or "Iqbal," please do forward them.

Regards,
Vani
