What should I do if the company where I am working is not deducting any PF from any of its around 300 employees? As far as I know, if a company has 20 or more employees, then 12% PF must be deducted from the employees' salary. Please guide me.

What are the salary levels of the employees? If the Basic Salary and DA, along with a few other allowances, amount to more than Rs 6,500 per month, then the company need not deduct and contribute to PF.

As per my knowledge, the company must deduct the PF for all the employees, and the company can restrict the company contribution to Rs. 6,500, i.e., Rs. 780 from the company and the same amount from employees, or more than the company contribution.

An employee joining at a salary level above Rs 6,500 need not be covered. If an organization from day one is engaging people at a salary level (basic plus DA plus certain allowances) above Rs 6,500, then those employees need not be covered under PF.
