Re: CiteWiki - Human Resource Management

Dear all,

I have completed my MCA, but currently, I am working in an IT company as an Operations and HR Department Manager. If I were to quit this job and look for the next one in the same field (HR and operations), could you kindly provide recommendations?

My qualification is MCA. Will this be an issue for the next job? Should I pursue an MBA (one-year study)? Is it necessary for my profile at this point?

Thank you,
Lakshman

Dear Lakshman,

How long have you been working as an HR Manager? Please share some more details about your role and span of control. There are many managers who have worked in HR from different functions. Inter-vertical switch is normal, as long as you are confident of your basics.
