Ap Contract Labour Minimum Wages

Dear Sir,
I am working as a hr executive in a construction company , and now please let me know how contract labour minimum wages will be decided and latest wages in cement industry which was amended with effect from 01.07.2013

Dear Suresh,
Every State Govt. issues a Govt. Order (GO) stating minimum wages in the state for the contract labour industry wise. From that GO you can determine the minimum wages for the Contract Labour.

Conctract labour MW for AP state in cement industry as follows ;
w.e.f 01.04.2013
Basic wage VDA Total Wage
Skilled Rs.8079 Rs.2116 Rs.9295
Semi Skilled Rs. 6579 Rs. 992 Rs.7571
Un skilled Rs. 5579 Rs. 884 Rs.6443

you need to observe minimum wages applicable to roads and buildings notified by respective state govt.
