Hi Shweta, Human Resources terminology has evolved immensely. Now, HR needs to work closely with business leaders, a role we refer to as HR Business Partner. The responsibility of the Human Resources function is to enable people's productivity, improve the organization's culture with integrity, and ultimately guide the organization in the right direction to fulfill its vision.

In simpler terms, HR's job is to attract, select, develop, and retain talent to achieve organizational goals. However, to accomplish this, we need to adhere to specific policies and procedures that align with the organization's core values.
