In general, MSW focuses on HR from a holistic human approach, and an MBA focuses on a strategic business approach. It is your choice to go for an MBA (HR) or an MSW. If you are interested in PM/IR/Labour Welfare/Labor Laws/Corporate Communication, you can surely opt for MSW. If you are interested in Recruitment/Training & Development/Change Management/Performance Appraisal/Employee Engagement/Resource Allocation, then you can go for an MBA (HR).
As an HR professional, you should make one point clear: each field mentioned above is broad, and to start with, you cannot master all of them. It takes years, and even then, you may or may not have the chance to enter into all these areas.
