I have been informed that I need to undergo a Performance Improvement Plan (PIP). Could someone kindly provide support to help me understand the process and execution of the same?

I think we should follow the ISO 9000 system for this. For example, statistical techniques, PDCA...

Thank you!

Dear Romy,

I would like to add one particular point. The Performance Improvement Plan is not meant only for low or non-performers. If you identify potential candidates and want to develop them, entrusting them with higher responsibilities, then a specific Individual Performance Plan is structured and implemented. In this process, evaluation is a major task. For evaluation, you need a team, specifically a cross-functional team comprising the immediate superior, Head of Department (HOD), HOD (internal customer), and HR (compulsory).

Timeliness is a major criterion in the evaluation process, recording, updating the individual/action plan, and reaching a conclusion.

Hi All, I have been asked to design the PIP process. I would appreciate your help in designing a flowchart around the same.

Thanks in advance,

Anushweta
