Original Certificates Lost By Employer: Plan Of Action

We appointed few staff, with 2 years bond by taking their original Education certificates. Now while checking we found that it is not available may it is misplaced /lost.
Request please advise how to handles this issue please.

Request you to declare it to the employees that their documents have been misplaced and work along with them to get them reissued.
Certificates can be re-issued by the authorities , provided the employees give a reason and wait till they receive it.
Its a very serious concern. Take it as the first task on Monday.
The employees would be very anxious on this news. Please prepare for that. Talk to a leader they trust the most and take a one-on-one discussion. Reassure the firm's support to them. Offer them every support that they might need to get the documents back.
