Leave Policy Inquiry for Private Limited Company
Our company is a private limited company that was incorporated in October 2012. Previously, it operated as a sole proprietorship firm. We have holidays on all Sundays throughout the year and on major festivals such as Deepavali, Dassera, etc. Apart from these designated days off, if an employee takes additional leave, their salary is deducted based on a calculation (gross salary divided by the number of days in a month multiplied by the number of days of leave taken).
Casual Leave Request
Is it possible for an employee to request a minimum of 12 casual leaves per year from the management? What are the regulations regarding leave policies for private limited companies?
Equality in Leave Benefits
In our company, only some senior staff members are granted one day of leave (out of 10 senior employees, with a total workforce of 55). I am also a senior employee, but I am not receiving this benefit. I believe that everyone should be treated equally. Please advise me on how to approach the management to address this issue.
