EPF Withdraw Within 5 Years

Hi,
I have worked last 4 years in my previous company, now i moved to new company and new location (1 month back). I have filled and submitted the PF withdraw from to my previous company HR.
Recently i come to know withdraw PF amount within 5 years is taxable. Please let me know how much percentage they will detect from my PF or any other option is there to cancel the withdraw or how to preceded to get tax exception.

Dear Palanivel,
Partial withdrawal of PF is taxable. Within 2 months of leaving the service you cannot apply for withdrawal. You can apply for PF withdrawal after 2 months. One of the members on this forum stated that PF accrual from previous employment cannot be withdrawn even after 2 months of joining a fresh employer and can only be transferred.
