Dear all
pls send us professional Tax rules.
our company at ahmedabad and we have marketing staff in different state so how much we deduct professional tax. are there different tipe or as per gujarat rules.

Please note that the Professional Tax rates has been revised in the State of Gujarat.
You have to deduct the Professional tax as per the Slab rate for each individual state respectively.

Here is the latest slab FY 2013-14 for Gujarat:
up to Rs. 6000/- Nil
6001 to 8999 - 80/-
9000 to 12000 - 150/-
12000 & above - 200/-
