Can One Experience Letter Cover Both My Back Office and Recruitment Roles?

I have two and a half years of experience, with one year in back office and one and a half years in recruitment for call centers.

Experience Letter Query

My doubt is that, as I am working in a small firm where we are not provided with any documents, I have still requested my senior to help me out with it. In that case, if they mention both the experiences in one experience letter, will that work? If yes, kindly help me out with the same.

Namrata, no matter how small or big the company is, if you have left the company on good terms or bad terms, or the company has asked you to resign and you have given your notice period of 20 days or 30 days, you may always demand an experience letter. The contents of the experience letter can be customized according to the work allocation or should be based on the candidate's last working profile. Always seek the request politely, and your work will be done. Don't be demanding; be convincing.

Basically, an experience letter can be given based on your last profile in the company. Details about job rotation, internal transfer, or roles transfer will not be mentioned in the letter.

If you want to include these two jobs in a single letter, do request your company management to mention your designation as "Executive - HR & Admin" in the experience letter. It may cover both your back office and recruiter jobs.

The experience letter matters, however small the company may be. Regarding the experience, they will mention the nature of work performed by you in the company and the length of service therein. This should suffice.
