This is my second job. In the first job, my salary was 15k. I worked there only for 6 months and quit because of a salary issue. There was PF deduction from the first month, but our PF accounts were opened after 4 months. When I asked them about that, they just neglected it. I even don't know if I have a PF account or not. In this company, we don't have any PF deductions now.
In Your Previous Job:
1. Your gross was 15,000 - What was your basic?
2. You worked for 6 months.
3. PF accounts opened after 4 months but deductions were there since the 1st month. So, do you have any salary slip to claim this? A salary slip for all 6 months? I believe when they are deducting PF from employees, they are bound to give you a PF number.
4. In this company, if you don't have PF deductions, there is a chance that the firm is not covered under the PF Act (again assuming because you didn't mention the number of employees in your current employment), and hence ideally there should not be any deduction against PF from your salary.
5. Also, note if your basic pay is more than 6,500, there will be no deduction for PF even if the PF Act becomes eligible for the firm.
Hope this cleared your doubt.
