That's the only part where I feel less proficient in my profession. People say that you need to use tools and strings to source candidates. For my benefit, I would like to learn about online sourcing from the basics. Could you please guide me?

If you have been told, suggested, or guided to use any such tools, it may be illegal. If caught, you could be labeled a "hacker," potentially leading to serious criminal charges. Once under scrutiny, you could be in serious trouble.

Alternatively, you can develop contacts locally to enhance your database. This means you can utilize LinkedIn, perhaps Facebook (I am not sure about Twitter). Simply post a job vacancy and request interested individuals to send their profiles to your email ID. It would be more credible if you use your company email ID. Otherwise, potential candidates considering a change may perceive it as a trap set by HR. I hope you understand my point.
