How Does Lack of Trust Impact Relationships? Share Your Thoughts on This Story

Vani
Hi, Guys,

Just came across this article on trust. Go through it and I hope to hear your views.

Trust is a very important factor in all relationships. When trust is broken, it marks the end of the relationship. Lack of trust leads to suspicion, suspicion generates anger, anger causes enmity, and this enmity may result in separation.

A telephone operator once shared that she received a phone call where she answered, "Public Utilities Board." There was silence. She repeated, "PUB," but there was still no response. As she was about to hang up, she heard a lady's voice saying, "Oh, so this is PUB. Sorry, I got the number from my husband's pocket, but I do not know whose number it is."

Without mutual trust, just imagine what would happen to the couple if the telephone operator had simply answered with "hello" instead of "PUB."

Thanks,

Vani

Dear Vani,

I will quote in this fashion, please correct me if I am wrong: "99.99% trust is equal to no trust. Trust should always be 100% full." The sentence sounds funny when someone says, "I trust you, but only 99.99%."

Regards,
