I have created a new attendance system and have included an employee leave feature in this system. However, I have a query regarding earned leave (EL). I am unsure about the following details:

- Sanction limit (minimum and maximum)
- Present and leave
- Max accrual limit

I have attached an image with yellow markings. Could you please provide guidance on what should be filled in the yellow marked sections?

According to our company policy, if employees are unable to utilize all their accrued Earned Leave during a calendar year, they have the option to carry forward any unused vacation time to the next calendar year, up to a maximum accrual level of 30 working days. Each month, 1 EL will be credited to the employee's account.

Your assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

2. **Present:** 30 days in a month with an earned leave of 1.00
3. **Max Accrual Limit:** 30.00 leave

These details are based on my understanding, but I recommend confirming with your software personnel for accurate guidance, as the software operates technically.

I second Saji. The first cell with Min and Max is for the current month, which is 1, and the maximum is 12. The next cell 'present' is right beside 'Is accrual: yes or no,' hence for the accrued ones, till date. This information should come from past references if the employee has already been in the system for a long time. The fourth cell, right beside the one named 'leave,' must be conditional based on whether leave has been applied or not. Will you get automated data in the final cell once you fill these in? The final cell, as Saji mentioned, is '30.'
