What will be asked in the interview? Your understanding of the various functions within HR and your contributions. It's good to be prepared at least on a theoretical level.
I want to know if I can apply for the job in my present capacity. When you mention recruitment experience, do you handle end-to-end processes from manpower planning to onboarding formalities? If not, the first step is to gain exposure to that area. If yes, then explore internal opportunities within your current setup and consider transitioning to other roles.
Also, what is the salary range that I deserve? This is a very subjective question. Frankly, with only one year of service, focus on the value-added exposure a particular role can offer your career rather than just the salary.
Keep attending interviews, regardless of your interest in the specific job role. Through this process, you will learn what to expect and how to navigate various situations, ultimately improving your skills in a short period. Although I am involved in training delivery, I always consider myself a student and advocate for experiential learning.
Best wishes.
