I am working at an Electronics Company in Gujarat as an Executive - Personnel. Recently, there have been changes in the Board of Directors. Our company is a limited company and is registered under the Factory Act, Contract Labour Act, etc.

Notification of Director Changes

I would like to know whom we should notify regarding the change of Director under the various acts and what the process entails. Please advise.

Thanks & Regards,

You need to refer to the company's act under which your company is registered to find the answer. Alternatively, you can search for it on google.com and take appropriate action.

You need to inform all the concerned departments about the change. The departments with whom you have registered your company, and the details of the company are given to such departments at the time of registration; you must inform such departments of the change. Examples include the Factory Dept., Labour Dept., PF Dept., ESI Dept., PT Dept., and Labour Welfare Dept.

For certain departments, you need to submit the change in a specific form or format. For instance, ESI requires form 01, and PF requires form 5A.

You need to inform the Chief Inspector of the factory, the Labor Commissioner, the PF Commissioner, and the ESI if required.

Thank you.
