How to Explain My Quick Resignation and Immediate Availability to a New Employer?

hari1985
I have resigned from my job as my employer asked me to relocate or resign. I have dependencies, so I chose to resign. I am currently on the bench, so I was relieved in 3 days. How should I communicate to the new organization that I have been relieved and am available to join immediately? Will my reason for leaving be positively accepted?

Ensure there is a single line break between paragraphs.

If you have received a relieving letter from the company, then you need not worry. Be confident and go with the flow. You will be received positively anywhere.

Hi Hari, you mentioned you were on the bench. Do you have any practical exposure to add to your CV? This is a tough situation where one needs strong willpower and self-confidence. Remember one thing: if you are not convinced of your reasons, none of the others will be. It is possible that not all would be convinced of your reasons, but you are not to please everyone. Before you convince anyone else, you need to convince yourself.

Having dependents and hence being unable to relocate implies your dedication towards your family. Now, the company may feel that tomorrow you may leave them as well for your family. You need to be prepared to answer such questions. If they raise this question, well and good. But what if they don't? You need to prepare yourself in such a way that you portray yourself as dedicated to both your family and your work.
