Form No 16 - What about the employees who don't come under Tax slab?

Is it mandatory to issue Form No 16 to all the employees? What about the employees who don't come under Tax slab. Has Form no 16 to be issued to them also.

Yes it is mandatory to issue Form no. 16 to all employees in whose case TDS has been deducted, for rest it is not mandatory but if they demand then you have to provide it.

Issuing Form 16 is necesary for all the employees even if it is not mandatory from Income Tax act point of view.
Most of the employees would come back to you asking for Form 16 for past 2-3 years especially when they apply for any loan in the bank.
also it would be a good will gesture to you employees as they will be assured company is following all statutory compliances of under Income tax.

our management not providing form 16 for 2012-13 fy eventhough requested many times. That is why unable to file IT Returm as how much income shown in my account as I am having other income also in addition to it.
What can i do? How to proceed to get the Form*16 to file IT Return?
