Can We Use Our Kolkata ESIC Registration for Contract Workers in Tamil Nadu?

We have our office in Kolkata, and we are going to start work as contract laborers in Tamil Nadu. We have registration in Kolkata for ESIC, but can we use the same registration number to provide ESIC to contract laborers in Tamil Nadu, considering we do not have an office there?

If the job is of a temporary nature, you can continue with the same ESIC number. However, if the work is for a longer period, I would suggest obtaining an ESIC sub-code for that particular region.

You need to apply for and obtain a sub-code in Tamil Nadu. Please apply online and ensure compliance accordingly in Tamil Nadu.
