In many organizations, freshers are given an opportunity to undergo on-the-job training for a certain duration, which is subsequently increased. These interns are paid stipends and are compensated in cash or cheque.

Queries Regarding Trainee Duration and Stipends

My queries are:

- What is the maximum duration up to which we can keep a person as a trainee?
- Is there a salary bracket mentioned in any of the labor laws or acts for such cases?
