Missing DOB & DOJ on Annual PF Statements: What Does It Mean and How to Fix It?

Dear Sir, I am working in the HR department and have a query from an employee regarding the absence of DOB & DOJ in the annual PF statement. It is noted that in some cases, this information is displayed. What could this discrepancy signify? How can we update this information for all employees within the company?

Clarification Needed on RPFC Update

Kindly clarify whether this is an RPFC update or if any initiatives need to be taken from the company's end. Please advise.

Your query is regarding the annual statement. In some cases, the Date of Birth (DOB) and Date of Joining (DOJ) are shown, while in others, they are not displayed. The reason behind this is that DOB & DOJ are shown where it is available with the department (EPFO) and not shown where it is unavailable. The department has recently taken a step to update its records by uploading the missing data. If you have uploaded the missing information, you will receive your annual statement with the updated data.
