Moving Our Factory 30 km Away: What Does the Factories Act Say About This?

I am working in a factory in Chennai. Now, we want to shift our factory to a new location which is 30 km from the existing location.

Provisions and Rules Under the Factories Act

Under which provision/rules of the Factories Act can we do this? Is there any lead time to be given to workmen? We currently have a transport facility and plan to extend this service to the new factory as well.

Could someone provide me with a draft of the notice to be displayed?

Please refer to the Factories Act of 1948 along with the factory rules of your state. All provisions are clearly stated for the shifting of a factory, along with other relevant clauses.

I read the Factories Act 1948 along with the rules of major states but could not find any such provision. Therefore, I asked you to produce the relevant provision.
