Is the minimum wage for the National Capital Region (NCR) different, or is it applicable as per the concerned State Government notification?

Viewers may not know what NCR stands for. I was also unaware of it until I looked it up on Google. NCR stands for National Capital Region. In India, NCR includes the entire area of Delhi (both New and Old Delhi) as well as some urban areas of its neighboring states like Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan.

Minimum Wages in NCR

Regarding your question, are the minimum wages different for NCR? You should refer to the notification issued by the respective state government. NCR is considered part of a city, so whatever rates apply to the city area also apply to NCR.

Therefore, salaries in Faridabad/Gurgaon (Haryana), Noida/Ghaziabad (Uttar Pradesh), and Delhi would depend on the minimum wages of the specified states. Please refer to the minimum wages of the respective states in the download section of citehr.

Thank you.
