Crafting an Appointment Letter for Trainee Detailers: How to Include an Agreement?

Our company is planning to recruit fresh Diploma holders as Trainee detailers. I am supposed to draft an appointment letter for them. This appointment letter is different from the one we give to our existing employees as the fresh diploma holders are asked to sign an agreement with the company.

Lately, it has become a common trend in the HR field that candidates attend interviews, accept the offer letter, and then attempt to renegotiate with their current employers. Therefore, would it be possible to include a clause in our offer letters stating that failure to join on the specified date may lead to legal consequences? For instance, they could be required to compensate by paying an amount equivalent to 10 days of their basic salary based on their package.

Your prompt guidance on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
