The calculation that you mentioned is not correct. At any cost, the basic salary shall not be less than the Minimum Wages Act. Even the PF & PT calculation is also entirely wrong. Please share your ID so I can email you the calculations.

Hi Priya, to know employees' minimum wages as per the state of Karnataka, you need to specify the designation of employees. As per the Shops & Commercial Establishments Schedule employment, minimum wages are fixed on a designation-wise basis, unlike in factories where they go by HIGHLY SKILLED, SKILLED, etc.
