Share Certificate Signing: Is the M.D.'s Signature Enough or Is More Needed?

nayeem21
Who should sign a Share Certificate when we are issuing it? Is the M.D.'s signature enough, or should it be signed by someone else as well?

Thank you all for an early reply.

Hi Nayeem, Share certificates are usually signed by the Company Secretary and either the Managing Director or Chief Financial Officer.

Share certificates should be signed by any two directors, and a secretary or a person authorized by the Board of Directors needs to sign the share certificates.
