I have completed my core HR professional course, and I have a good understanding of it. However, I don't have experience in core HR. I have experience in administration and marketing, but now I want to transition my career to core HR. How can I do that? Please suggest.

Do you have a degree in HR? If not, getting a job in HR will be a bit difficult. However, there are still a few opportunities, and you might need to be patient for the right one to come along.

I have completed my MBA with a major in HR and a minor in Marketing. When I finished my MBA, I got a job in retail marketing. During that period, I completed my core HR studies because of my passion for working in the HR field. I don't have any interest in working in the marketing sector. Please suggest what I should do?

Hi Sirisha, as there is currently a high level of competition and the job market is a bit dry, it can be quite challenging. Nevertheless, you should update your skills and stay up-to-date. To be competent, you should excel in all core modules, ranging from recruitment, payroll, statutory compliance, training and development, counseling, and appraisal, among others.
