Salary Slip Without Professional Tax Deduction: Will It Affect My Next Job?

I have 3 years of experience in HR. I worked with a start-up company as an HR Coordinator. I resigned last week, but I have not received my salary slip yet. They are currently processing the salary slip, but there is no PT deduction as they did not register for Professional Tax. If I receive the salary slip without any PT deduction, will it be valid for another company?

As the organization is not registered for Professional Tax (PT), that is the issue with the organization. However, the payslip is still valid, and you should explain this to the new employer if they specifically inquire about it.

The liability to deduct and pay the PT is on the employer and not on the employee, so you need not worry about it.
