Now, I want to change my job and apply for a senior-level position. However, when I receive calls, they ask for skills in Training & Development, Employee engagement, statutory compliances, and Performance management, which I lack knowledge in. I feel like I have wasted my career and am demotivated. I can't pursue a change now because of my lack of expertise. There is no one here to guide me or from whom I can learn. I wish to gain practical knowledge and learn from an HR manager or senior, but there is no one here in my HR domain to mentor me.
Please help me. What should I do now? Whenever I receive an interview call, the job descriptions scare me as I lack the required skills. Seniors, please help me.
