Non-Refundable Advances for PF Members
Just adding value to Sach001's query, a member of PF may avail the following non-refundable advances:
1. For the purchase of a dwelling house;
2. For the construction of a house;
3. For additions, alterations, or improvements to a house owned by the member or his/her spouse;
4. In case of a lockout or reasons other than a strike;
5. In case of non-receipt of wages for two months;
6. In case of illness affecting the member or his/her family member;
7. In case of the member's marriage, or the marriage of his/her son, daughter, brother, or sister; and for some more reasons subject to certain conditions and submission of documentary proof.
