A Bare Act means a book containing the original law with amendments, if any. These Bare Act books pertain to the most popular laws such as the Law of Contracts, Insurance, CPC, CrPC, etc. If you go to any leading law bookstore and ask for a bare act for, let's say, PF, they will provide you with the book. Usually, these books are less expensive, but for a fresher, reading a Bare Act might be a bit difficult.
