MY PF Calculation

Hi,
I worked in a company for 20 months. from 4th october 2010 to 14th july 2012. so rs 780 has been deducted from my salary every month. so please let me know the employer's contribution and also provide a detailed calculation of my total pf amount which i will get as i have requested to close this account. thanks in advance

Hi Krishna,
Employer PF should be converted into two parts, one is Employer PF of Rs. 239/- second one is Family Pension of Rs. 541/-
you can get Rs.780/- + 239 * 20 = Rs. 20380 /- + Interest (Annual Interest 8.50%)
Pension fund Rs. 541 * 20 = 10820/- Approximately (no interest attracted for this amount, its called service value)

Thank you very much for the calculation Mr. Srini. so if i close my pf account now. will i get the total of 20380+ interest + 10820 . so the total comes around 31000+ interest, am i correct.?

ok great. at present i have received form 19 claim amount yesterday. and both my form 10c and 19 got approved. but my 10c amount is pending from pf office. any idea that how long does it take to get credited?

one week different is there between receiving the amount, u can check your clime status in epfindia.com
