Facing PF Fraud: How Can I Recover My Funds When My Employer Didn't Deposit Them?

hr_manager123
In my previous organization, although the employer had been deducting PF from my salary, I have now come to know, after almost a year, that they had not been depositing the PF amount in the EPF office of the Government. As I need money, I am struggling to get hold of my PF, and the previous employer is simply not providing any details regarding the PF.

Please advise what would be the appropriate course of action now.

If you have a complaint against your employer, you can file it with your regional PF office. They will take necessary actions.

Do you have your payslip, and does it mention PF deduction and PF A/c. No.? If yes, you can make a complaint against your employer at your regional PF office (along with a Xerox copy of your payslip) as proof of PF deduction by the organization.

EPFO Member Portal

Also, why have you not used the EPFO Member Portal? The Member Portal provides you with your EPF Electronic Passbook, which contains all the information about how much money is deposited in your A/c. 1 & A/c. 10.
